The short answer
If your handicap isn't active yet, the Future Golf app shows a status message instead. Here's what each one means and what you should do.
What your status means
New Handicap
You've been issued a Golf ID, but you haven't submitted three scorecards yet. Once your first three cards are in, you'll be issued an official handicap.
What to do: start submitting your rounds. See How do I submit Handicap Rounds?
Pending Handicap
During your membership setup, you either couldn't remember your handicap, had trouble verifying an old one, or are transferring an international handicap. These need to be handled manually by our team.
What to do: nothing yet. A team member will update your account with your Golf ID within 3-5 business days. See Other methods to create a handicap
More Information
Your Golf ID field is blank. This can happen for a number of reasons.
What to do: submit an enquiry with your account details so our team can take a look and give you an update.
A number (for example, 15.6)
If you can see your Golf ID along with a number, your Golf ID is active and everything is working as expected. There's nothing you need to do.
Seeing something different?
Our support team can take a look at your account, 9am - 5pm, Monday to Friday.
