Transferring a handicap from overseas, or can't remember your old Golf ID? Fill out the Handicap Support form in the app and our team will set it up for you. To get started, go to Get Started, tap Get Your Golf ID, then tap Handicap Support.
1. Tell us if you have a handicap
Choose Yes or No to let us know whether you have an existing handicap. This can be one from Australia or from overseas. Then tap Next.
2. Enter your Golf ID
If you remember it, enter your existing or international Golf ID, then tap Next.
Don't have a Golf ID? Just enter all 0s in the box and continue.
3. Enter your home club
Type the name of your home club, then tap Next.
4. Enter your approximate handicap
Enter your handicap as best you know it, then tap Next.
5. Choose who manages your handicap
If we're able to find your existing Golf ID, let us know whether you'd like Future Golf to be your home club, or to keep your Golf ID with your current home club. Then tap Next.
Keeping your current club? If your handicap is managed by a different club, you can still submit rounds through the Future Golf app. See How do I submit Handicap Rounds?
6. Add any extra details and submit
Add any comments that might help our team, and upload an image or evidence if you have it. Then tap Complete Form to confirm your details are accurate and send your request.
What happens next
We'll review your request
A Future Golf team member will manually review your request and get in touch within 3-5 business days. The more details you fill in, the easier it is for us to create your handicap.
