The short answer
You can live score your rounds right in the Future Golf app. Tap the red plus icon on the home page, select Scoring, then choose Play Now.
1. Start a match
You can create a match to start a round for you and your friends.
Or, to join a round a friend has created, enter their unique invite code or scan their QR code.
2. Set up your round
When creating a match, search to find the course you are playing.
Then choose the number of players and whether you are playing 9 or 18 holes. Once you have selected your tees, you can choose whether to make this a Handicap Round or not.
The Handicap Round feature is only available when playing with 2 players, not as a solo match. Failure to complete a Handicap Round may result in a No Score Not Approved against your handicap.
3. Wait in the match lobby
For a 2 player match, you'll need to wait for the second player to join. Share your QR code or invite code so they can join you.
Once both players have joined, you can start the match.
4. Score your round
When you start the round, you'll be able to enter in your scores for each hole.
Once you have completed your round, you can view the round summary before submitting.
5. Submit your card
You'll see all your scores for each hole, and can confirm that you and your playing partner have the correct scores entered.
The final step is to sign the scorecard to certify the round.
If you are playing alone, you will not be able to submit your card for your handicap.
