The short answer
Nominating a round tells us you're committing to a handicap round before you play. Once you've played, you have 3 days to submit your score.
Don't have a handicap yet? You won't need to nominate any rounds. Just submit your scorecards directly.
1. Nominate a handicap round
In the app, tap Score in the bottom navigation bar, make sure Handicap Round is selected, then tap Nominate Handicap Round.
2. Choose your course and date
Set the date you plan to play and search for your course, then tap Submit Nomination.
There's no need to nominate if you're scoring through Play Now. Nominate only if you plan to upload your score later.
3. Find your round awaiting submission
Once nominated, a new Rounds Awaiting Submission option appears on the Score screen. Tap it to see your nominated rounds.
4. Wait until you've played
If your round is still in the future, it stays locked and shows when it's due.
Once you've played, the round unlocks and you can enter your scores. You have 3 days to submit from the day you played.
5. Check your details and select your tees
Confirm your round date, course and whether you played 18 or 9 holes, then choose your tee selection and tap Next.
6. Enter your score
Enter your score for each hole, then continue to the certification step.
7. Sign your submission
Select your marker, enter their Golf ID, and capture both signatures. Confirm the declaration, then tap Confirm Signature.
That's it. Your scores are submitted and sent to Golf Australia for processing.
