At a glance
Events are a great way to meet other Future Golf members and play some fantastic courses. Here are answers to the questions we get asked most, from registering to prizes.
Registering
How do I register for an event?
You'll find all upcoming events under Events in the app's bottom navigation bar. To register, you'll log in to MiClub using these details:
- Username: your Future Golf member number.
- Password: your member number followed by your day and month of birth (DDMM). Born on 2 August? Add 0208 to the end.
For example, member 12345 born on 1 January would log in with username 12345 and password 123450101. Can't log in? There's a password reset link on the MiClub login page.
Where's my member number?
Tap the profile icon in the top right of the home page. Your member number is shown on your profile card.

Can I bring a guest or a non-member?
Guests don't need their own Golf ID to play. Yes, you can bring a guest, and they pay the non-member registration fee.
Withdrawing and refunds
How do I withdraw, and will I get a refund?
To withdraw, submit an enquiry with the event name and date. Whether you're refunded depends on the type of event and how much notice you give.
- Regular events: cancel up to 72 hours before the event for a full refund.
- Future Golf trips: give at least 14 days' notice to receive a refund.
See Event Refunds
Inside 72 hours or a no-show? These aren't eligible for a refund or credit, because final player numbers have to be confirmed with the club at least 3 days in advance.
Who can play
Do I have to be good to play?
Not at all. Events are open to players of all abilities. Fields are usually split into grades (A, B and C grade) depending on numbers, with winner and runner-up prizes in each grade. See Do I have to be good to play Future Golf Events?
Do I need a handicap?
Prizes and results
What are the novelty prizes?
There are 4 novelty prizes you can play for at an event. Winners receive either a sleeve of golf balls or, for the Pro Pin, a cash prize.
- Nearest to the Pin: on a few select par 3s, whoever lands their tee shot closest to the hole wins.
- Longest Drive: one hole is set as the longest drive hole, and the longest drive that finishes in the fairway wins.
- Approach: one par 4 is set as the approach hole, and whoever hits their second shot closest to the hole wins.
- Pro Pin: the same rules as Nearest to the Pin, but it costs $5 to enter and the winner takes it all.
I won a prize. When will I receive it?
Prize vouchers are issued to winners once results are finalised, and will appear in your account in the app 1-2 weeks after the event. If yours hasn't arrived after that, submit an enquiry with the event name, date and your placing, and our team will follow it up.
Where can I find results?
You can find the leaderboards for each event in MiScore. You can also keep track of other event leaderboards within the app!
